2018 NOFA FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

Saturday, October 20th

**MEDINA VETS PARK

335 West Oak Orchard Street, Medina, NY 14103

Ample parking is available in the main parking lot of Vets Park. Vets Park Reserves the right to have vehicles towed. Handicapped parking will be available in close proximity to the Football Field and entry into same. Handicapped parking will be monitored by Medina PD, and violators ticketed or towed.

There is a $2.00 Admission Fee for Adults and Children over 5yrs old.

All NOFA coaches, players and cheerleaders are admitted free of charge. To expedite this process at the gate, we ask that those children wear their jersey or warm-ups if possible. Coaches must show their NOFA badge for free entry! Hand stamps will be used to allow re-entry throughout the entire day.

Restrooms are on site inside the grounds of the actual field located in the concession building.

50/50 Drawings and Concessions will be available throughout the day.

Saturday, October 27th NOFA Championship Games held in Medina @ Vets Field

Saturday, November 3rd NOFA Cheer Zone @ Genesee Community College, Batavia.

There is NO SMOKING / VAPING anywhere on the Vet Parks’ grounds. This includes the parking lot!

NO Sports Drinks on Field – WATER ONLY!

NO Food, Gum, Sunflower Seeds on Field!

ALL SPECTATORS MUST SIT IN BLEACHERS.

The Niagara-Orleans Football Association would like to remind everyone to:

“Let the players play Let the coaches coach Let the officials officiate Let the spectators be positive!”

Unruly fans will be escorted from the premises. Parents are responsible for their child’s supervision and behavior at all times.

**In event that Medina’s field is not available for playoffs, the location will change to Oakfield – Alabama High School

Welcome to NOFA!

Welcome to the Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) website.  NOFA is the Governing body for Football and Cheerleading for the areas that include Akron, Albion, Alden, Attica, Batavia, Holley, Medina, Newfane, Oakfield-Elba, Pembroke, RoyHart, and Tri-Town School Districts.   NOFA has a full contact Football Program that is Age Based with ages ranging from 6 – 13 based on a 12/1 birthdate.  We have Four Divisions – 6 – 7 years old are Beginners, 8 -9 years old are Mini’s, 10 – 11 years old are JV, and 12 – 13 years old are Varsity.

Our Mission Statement

This association is designed primarily to encourage athletic endeavors. And to promote the physical, mental and moral development of children by providing the means through which the individual child shall receive education and instruction in football and cheerleading. The purpose of setting up such a program will be to develop a spirit of fair play, honest and fair competition and a sense of true sportsmanship, with no discrimination toward race, color or creed. NOFA supports the principle of football and cheerleading for every interested and eligible child. NOFA does not advocate tryouts with the idea of only offering football or cheerleading to only the best and most talented children in the community. NOFA encourages its membership to continually strive to increase leadership and finances of the organization so that every eligible child who wants to participate in the program may do so.
